 Not FolkOf course, I’m not a folk musician; nor do I pretend to be composing folk music. rather, I have tried, in the sound and sense of Last Forever, to strike a balance between acknowledging my distance from the source of my inspiration and preserving its essential viatlity. While the combinations of instruments in my arrangements have no traditional precedents, I have approximated some idiomatic performance styles, and there is lyrical and melodic quotation throughout.
